About us

Hi, Our names are Dianne Forsh (CEO) and Alexandria Forsh (Co-owner). The journey began when my granddaughter was born in 2004, weighing 1 —.04 oz. As the month passed, there was an indication that, developmentally, she was delayed and that there may be other issues. How could she get help? My daughter realized that she could seek the advice of the pediatrician, who directed her to organizations and centers that could give her answers. Advocate pushed her and her mother forward to fight for things to help her become more inclusive in society. After a few years, I wrote a children’s book about Miss Lady, “Welcome to My World”. Her mother did the beautiful illustrations.

As Alexandria progressed, people started to ask her questions. Her experiences began to provide her information that she could share with others. There is so much information out there, but parents do not know where to begin. They become frustrated and stressed because so many people that know nothing about autism are always offering advice.

Her mother did not want others to see her as a child with autism, but as a human being, who just happens to have autism. She highlighted her daughters positive attributes and encouraged her to be herself. Her mother and I realized our job was not over. This was the beginning of “ Phases of Autism”.

We can help make a difference in their lives

Our mission: is to build a learning community where knowledge could be applied to solve key societal challenges of autistic individuals and allow them to be more inclusive in society.

Our vision: to empower those diagnosed with autism to make a difference by confronting those challenges where they live, in their professions, and on a global scale; so that they become more inclusive in society and help chart their own course.
—Alexandria and Dianne Forsh founder and co-founder of Phases of Autism
